As in years passed, we are asking friends and supporters of the church to help support the bazaar by advertising in the event program, AND, new this year, on our russianbazaar.org Web site.
The program is available to all attendees, free of charge. It contains information about the bazaar's events, a brief history and map of the church, as well as a message from our Head Rector, Father Victor Potapov. And this year, for the first time, the booklet will be printed in both Russian and English to connect more fully with all the attendees of the bazaar. We are also pleased to offer sponsored ads on our newly designed Web site: www.russianbazaar.org.
The booklet and Web site offer an outstanding and affordable way to advertise your products or services to thousands of people from around the Washington/Metro area.
Specifications
We accept only digital advertising materials. Please prepare your files according to the specifications outlined below and email them to us at stjohnbazaar@gmail.com.
Accepted Digital Formats
- TIFF (Hi-resolution, 300 dpi minimum)
- PDF (Hi-resolution, 300 dpi minimum)
Press-/Print-Optimized—all fonts embedded/all graphics hi-res and linked properly. We can not accept native application files, such as InDesign, QuarkXPress or Microsoft Word.
File Preparation
- Set up documents to be final ad size.
- Files for Full Page Ads should be set up for NO BLEED SIZE (4.5" wide x 7.5" tall).
- All files must be converted to B&W.

Web Ad Specifications
Web site ads are due by September 21, 2009. We accept only digital advertising materials. Please prepare your files according to the specifications outlined below and email them to us at stjohnbazaar@gmail.com.
Accepted Digital Formats, File Preparation and Composition Requirements
- Only static images are accepted. (No animated GIFs.)
- Files should be between 72 and 90 DPI and in GIF, JPG or PNG format.
- Set up documents to be final ad size.
- The ad file should be sent with the destination URL so that it can be linked from our Web site.
- All ads must include advertiser's name.
- Ads may not mirror or resemble the graphical look or functionality of the Russian Bazaar Web site, content or navigation.
- Ads may not mimic or resemble dialogue boxes, error messages, or the like.
- File name cannot contain spaces, ampersands, or any other extended characters.
- We reserve the right to refuse any ad or hyperlink for any reason, at our sole discretion.
